My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m based in Brisbane, Australia. I love writing and I love travelling (obviously), so I thought what better way to combine those two passions than into one glorious, magnificent, show-stopping, one-of-a-kind, never done before travel blog!

Almost everyone I meet considers travel to be an interest of theirs. They say travelling the world is their dream, they can’t wait to do this here… they’re dying to do that there… or something along those lines. 

This sentiment is usually then brought to a screeching halt when followed by the five most depressing words in the English language; ‘ I can’t afford it,’ or alternatively, ‘It’s not the right time.’

I believe that you either have money OR you have time; you can’t have both. Travel requires you to have time, which means you’re usually left to do it with not much money.

The purpose of this blog is to be my diary of sorts; to document where I go, what I do, and most importantly, how I manage to do it as a broke student on minimum wage (YAY) so you have NO EXCUSE (sorry) to book that flight!

The blog currently is, and probably always will be, a work-in-progress, so please be patient as I continue to work on expanding it!
